- Prosecuted U.S. service member’s eviction of tenant in his San Antonio home for non-payment of rent. Our client was stationed in Japan, but we obtained a judgment of eviction from the Bexar County Justice Court without his attendance.
- Represented major San Antonio apartment complex in tenant’s appeal of eviction judgment to Bexar County Court at Law. Appeal dismissed on our Motion based upon Tenant’s failure to post appropriate interim rental payments. Immediate Writ of Possession awarded to our client.
- Defended owner of commercial shopping center located near Spring Branch, Texas in Tenant’s claims of illegal lockout, and request for Writ of Reentry. Case settled after favorable trial in Comal County Justice Court.
- Prosecuted eviction of florist operation from a commercial shopping center located on San Antonio’s south side based upon non-payment of rent, disruption of other tenants, and destruction of leased premises. Also defended Landlord in Tenant’s complaint to San Antonio Code Compliance. Obtained favorable judgment of eviction from Bexar County Justice Court and dismissal of Code Compliance.
- Prosecuted eviction of same florist operation on behalf of their 2nd landlord, located just down the street in south San Antonio. Obtained favorable judgment of eviction from Bexar County Justice Court.
- Defended Blanco, Texas couple in dispute over title to their residence, which they purchased in a joint venture with husband’s brother, but titled in brother’s name. Obtained Temporary Restraining Order from the Blanco County District Court restraining service of Writ of Possession by Constable.
- Prosecuted California investor’s eviction of tenants from his investment home located in Stone Oak, San Antonio, Texas based upon non-payment of rent. Obtained favorable trial result in the Bexar County Justice Court.
- Prosecuted eviction proceeding in the Bexar County Probate Court on behalf of a Decedent’s Estate. An Estate heir was illegally residing in and sub-letting the San Antonio home, and was interfering with the Independent Executrix’ efforts to sell the home.
- Defended Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas investor in tenant’s appeal of Judgment of eviction from San Antonio home. Obtained dismissal of appeal and Writ of Possession from the Bexar County Court at Law.
- Defended elderly San Antonio homeowner in eviction case filed in Bexar County Justice Court by Investor who had tricked her into signing a Deed to the property. Eviction case dismissed based upon our Motion and objection to jurisdiction.
- Prosecuted eviction of tenants from our client’s San Antonio home, based upon non-payment of rent. Tenants appeared at trial and argued hardship. Obtained favorable judgment of eviction from Bexar County Justice Court.
- Defended mother of an autistic son in San Antonio apartment complex’ suit to evict her based upon child’s noise level. These noises were the child’s only method of communication. After filing a counter-suit for violations of various State and Federal laws, case was settled, with Agreed Judgment entered by Bexar County Justice Court. Our client’s security deposit was returned PRIOR TO her move-out, and she was provided with 2 months FREE RENT in order to find more suitable accommodations.
- Prosecuted former tenant’s claim against major San Antonio apartment complex based upon failure to timely return or account for security deposit. Case immediately settled by new owner of complex, who paid our client the full deposit amount plus attorneys’ fees and costs.
